Optimisation of Matchmaking Rules Matchmaking (MM) is a very important game mechanic which has to be clearly understandable to any player. Most players no doubt know about the limit on the +/- BR variance of vehicles’ Battle Ratings when assembling teams.

That doesn"t effect public perception and average player base skill though, both of which factor in matchmaking quite heavily. Of course, the real reason it"s probably so hard to get matches in Tier V tanks is the same reason it was so hard to get matches in jets a year ago: Right now there are only 8 Tier V ground vehicles period.
It also takes a long time to get to those 8 vehicles. Thus, there simply may not be numbers of people playing them to sustain normal matchmaking.
